8:30 AM – 3:15 PM Yom Kippur Service | Sanctuary
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Babysitting – RSVP Required (No Fee) | ECEC
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Children’s Yom Kippur Experience (Grades K-6) | School Building
Parents who are attending High Holy Day services at STS may drop their K-6th grade students off in the school building for a day of educational Yom Kippur programming including a prayer service and interactive learning about the holiday.
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM ECE – 2nd Grade Family Service | Heytow Chapel
This interactive and musical service will have our families singing, praying and reflecting about our vision of our best selves in the year to come. Led by Adrianne Pasternak.
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Tweens & Teens Services (Grades 7-12) | Youth Lounge
This USY-led service promises to be inspirational and motivational for the youth of our community.
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM 3rd – 6th Grade Family Service | Heytow Chapel
This interactive and musical service will have our families singing, praying and reflecting about our vision of our best selves in the year to come. Led by Adrianne Pasternak and Cantor Jackie Rafii.
12:00 PM – 2:30 PM Library Minyan Musaf Service with Dr. Harry Stark | Weinstein
In an intimate setting, come and bring your voice to make this an inspiring service. In this lay-led service we will repeat the complete Musaf service for the High Holiday. Everyone plays a role and children are welcome, always.
3:15 PM – 4:30 PM Community Learning | Heytow Chapel
3:15 PM – 4:00 PM Community Yizkor | Sanctuary
For members and non-members alike to come and hear the Yizkor Service for their loved ones. Open to the public.
4:30 PM – 5:45 PM Mincha Service | Sanctuary
5:45 PM – 7:30 PM Neilah – Blessing of the Children | Sanctuary
During the Neilah service, our ark is open and everyone is invited to stop in front of the Torah scrolls to engage in personal prayer as a family or as individuals. At the end of this service will be a special opportunity for our children to receive a blessing from Rabbi Camras. Neilah will end with a Havdalah and a Caramel Apple Break The Fast.
