Camp Etgar Programs

Early Childhood Program

Campers in the Early Childhood Center (ages 2-5 years) spend their days right here at STS!  Each age group has a home base classroom with a cubby for each child's belongings.  Campers spend their days visiting our discovery zones: The Discovery Garden, Woodshop, Imagination Station, Construction Zone, Art Studio and Science Lab.  Campers will also participate in daily water play, music and sports.  Each day begins and ends with a community gathering and on Fridays we celebrate Shabbat together.  Camp fees include: a camp shirt and daily nutritious hot lunches and healthy snacks.

Students Entering Kindergarten 1st & 2nd Grade

Campers entering Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades will take weekly field trips to local, age appropriate venues. Two days a week, campers will take a trip to the swimming pool at Kadima Day School to splash around with a lifeguard and our camp staff. Every day, our campers will visit our Discovery Zones as well as participate in activity centers which are structured to fit our camp themes as well as reinforce the academic skills our campers work so hard to build during the school year! Camp fees include: a camp shirt, daily nutritious hot lunches and healthy snacks, lifeguard and field trips.

"Bonim" (Teen Leaders)

A unique leadership opportunity for teens entering 6th-12th grade, this program is designed for budding leaders seeing more responsibility and experience working with young children. Bonim will take turns assisting teachers on field trips with our oldest campers and will participate in a three-part program which includes:

  • BUILDING: teens initiate and implement service projects on the STS campus.
  • NURTURING: teens work with and care for our young campers.
  • MENTORING: teens participate in weekly leadership training workshops led by our Youth Director and Director of Education.
