| The role of the young child is to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. Children learn by doing, touching, tasting, hearing, smelling and seeing things that are interesting to them. With this in mind, Shomrei Torah Synagogue's Early Childhood Education Center (STS ECEC) provides activities and experiences that are concrete, real and relevant to children's lives. In our classrooms, you can expect to find books, poems, songs, pictures, charts and labels about the experiences children have had at home as well as at school. |
|
As you enter through the doors of the Shomrei Torah Synagogue Religious School, you will be immersed in a high energy learning environment, rich with the spirit of Judaism and community. Our Religious School is a place where students learn to appreciate the fullness of Judaism and gain a sense of their Jewish self. These connections are made through song and prayer, art and dance, laughter and joy, field trips and family education friendships and the building of special memories. |

| Campers in the Early Childhood center (ages 2-5 yrs) spend their days at STS. Campers will also participate in daily water play, music and sports. Campers entering Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades will take weekly field trips to local, age appropriate venues. Two days a week, campers will swim at Kadima Day School with our camp staff and a certified lifeguard. Every day, our campers will visit our Discovery Zones as well as participate in activity centers which are structured to fit our camp themes as well as reinforce the academic skills our students work so hard to build during the school year! |

Adult Education is central to the Shomrei Torah Synagogue community. Participate in the many learning opportunities throughout the year taught by our rabbis and community of teachers. Learn and explore Jewish ideas and teachings, gain a better understanding of life cycle events and find out more about our rich Jewish culture and history. It's all about expanding your knowledge. |
